What We Collect

When you create an account, we store your display name, username, email address, and a hashed version of your password. If you sign in via OAuth (Google, Spotify, or Apple), we receive your name and email from the provider — we do not store OAuth tokens long-term.

When you use EventOps, we store the content you create: events, comments, RSVPs, likes, follows, venues, and organizations. We also store ticket records and transaction metadata for paid events.

How We Use It

Your data is used to operate the platform — showing your events, processing tickets, sending notifications, and displaying your public profile. We use your email to send transactional messages (password resets, ticket confirmations, verification).

We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. We do not share your information with third parties except as necessary for payment processing (Stripe).

Payments

Paid ticketing is processed through Stripe. When you purchase a ticket or connect a payout account, your payment details are handled entirely by Stripe. We store transaction IDs and amounts but never see or store your card number or bank details.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and a CSRF token cookie for form security. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party cookies.

Data Storage

EventOps is self-hosted. Your data lives on the server operated by the platform administrator. It is not replicated to external cloud services beyond what's required for Stripe payment processing.

Your Rights

You can update your profile information at any time from your dashboard settings. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at [email protected].
