EventOpsUsing EventOps
By creating an account or using EventOps, you agree to these terms. EventOps is an event platform — you can post events, share events, buy and sell tickets, follow other users, and engage with content. Use it for that.
Your Account
You're responsible for your account. Use a real email, keep your password safe, and don't share your credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately or contact us.
You must be at least 13 years old to use EventOps. If you're under 18, you need parental consent for paid transactions.
Content You Post
You own what you create on EventOps — your events, comments, venue listings, and profile content. By posting, you grant EventOps a license to display and distribute that content on the platform.
Don't post content that's illegal, abusive, harassing, or violates someone else's rights. The admin reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Ticketing & Payments
Free ticketing (registration, RSVPs, QR check-in) is available to all users at no cost.
Paid ticketing requires a Business tier upgrade and Stripe account connection. When you sell tickets, Stripe processes payments and handles payouts to your connected bank account. EventOps facilitates the transaction but is not a party to the sale — the organizer is the merchant of record.
Refund policies are set by the event organizer. Cancelled events with paid tickets trigger automatic refunds through Stripe.
Acceptable Use
Don't use EventOps to:
- Spam, scam, or phish other users
- Post fraudulent events or misleading ticket listings
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Scrape or bulk-download platform content
- Circumvent rate limits or security mechanisms
Availability
EventOps is self-hosted software. Uptime depends on the server operator. We don't guarantee 100% availability. We'll do our best, but outages happen.
Termination
You can stop using EventOps at any time. The admin may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If your account is terminated, your public content may be removed.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll note the "last updated" date at the top.
